If you like riding your motorcycle or enjoy biking in general, you will really benefit from wearing biking sunglasses. Not only do the biking sunglasses protect your eyes from the sun and make it easier for you to see, but these sunglasses made for cycling or motorcycling also protect you from the wind and bits of dirt and dust that fly around.
Although biking sunglasses are mainly for fashion, they are essential for any biker that has sensitive eyes or wear contact lenses. Most cyclists wear goggles,
and motorcyclists wear helmets, but many of them also wear their regular prescription sunglasses as cycling sunglasses. Oakley was the first company to come up with designer sunglasses such as biking and cycling sun glasses.
They have truly polarized lenses to offer the best clarity of vision, which you need when you are on the road.
Since Oakley came out with its line of designer sun glasses for those involved in outdoor sports, many other designers have jumped on the bandwagon. The latest line of biking sunglasses to hit the market make you look like an insect with the design of the frames. Cyclists like them though because they are tight fitting and offer the protection that they need. These cycling sunglasses are really expensive and are used mostly by people that engage in professional cycling, such as the Tour de France.
Many cyclists or motorcyclists do not pay the high prices of designer biking glasses, which could run you $500 or more.
According to the experts an ordinary pair of wraparound sunglasses does just as well. If you want biking sunglasses for when you ride your motorcycle, you would benefit from a pair of Oakley Sun glasses because they are so strong. With cycling, though, you are usually not going fast like on a motorcycle and don't have to worry about debris blowing into your eyes.
Some of the brand names associated with biking sunglasses, in addition to Oakley, include such designer cycling sunglasses as Bolle, Rudy Project, Native, Adidas and Zeal. Most of the designers claim that their style of cycling sun glasses comes from their own racing experiences and what they wanted in the line of sunglasses.
With each of these you can choose from different varieties of frames and colors of lenses. Most of the lenses are plastic so that they will not shatter easily if you get hit by something as you are cycling.
So if you need biking sunglasses you have lots of choice.

Play It Safe in the Sun--Wear Those Shades!
As you rub in the sunscreen to protect your skin this summer, don't forget sunglasses to protect your eyes. With the thinning ozone layer, it's not just skin cancer you have to worry about. Your eyes are vulnerable to the effects of Ultra Violet (UV) rays as well. This same radiation that damages skin can also increase your risk of developing eye problems, such as cataracts--a clouding of the eye's lens which develops over years. Sunglasses are no longer a simple fashion accessory but a health conscious necessity.
Sunglasses are a vital, and often under-appreciated part of eye care in the outdoor environment. Legend has it that sunglasses originated in China and were created by tinting glass lenses with smoke from open fires. As far back as the fifteenth century, Chinese judges wore these tinted lenses so as not to reveal partiality when examining evidence place before them. However, sunglasses really came into their own during World War II, when fighter pilots made good use of...

You pay money for that!? Why you should reconsider your dental plan.
In this the information age, I'm continually amazed by some things that make absolutely no sense at all and yet are considered the norm. Granted, I've got two small kids and there's very little that makes sense where they are concerned, so I'll be the first to admit that there are things that you leave alone because although the logic makes no sense, it works. But there are other things that I just can't overlook. Dental Insurance is one of them.
Let's look at a hypothetical situation and you tell me if it makes any sense.
You are paying $100/month for dental insurance. Your total annual cost is $1,200 for the policy. Your plan includes a $50 deductible. The maximum that your dental plan will pay out annually is $1,500. Okay, now without my having to go into any sort of detail as to why I am amazed at the number of people who are paying for dental insurance, please do the math.
You just paid $1,250 for $250 of benefits!
Did you know that...

Look Into My Eyes - New Webcam Technology
If a new webcam technology from Microsoft get the go-ahead, then instant messaging could get a whole lot more interesting.Currently under development at the Microsoft research labs in Cambridge, England, the new webcam, i2i consists of two lenses, which carefully follows an individual's movement.
Using an exclusively developed algorithm to cleverly blend what each lens is seeing, resulting in the creation of an accurate stereo "cylopean" image. All very technical, but for the 18.5 million people (source Microsoft) who regularly use webcams while they are using instant messengers, i2i means that it will appear as if users are looking into each others eyes. Antonio Criminisi, lead researcher of Microsoft's Machine Learning and Perception Group, said."We were able to come up with an algorithm that was able to take two images and capture a corresponding map in 3D.
Using this powerful technology, we can now synthetically create an image as if the person is looking straight...
